The Planets, the Energies & You! July 2007 The longer term planetary positions for 2007 is the backdrop of themes upon which the monthly planetary energies offer a further focus.  JULY’S ASTROLOGICAL THEMES: Really feeling the pressure from within to release that which is getting old and that which you have outgrown. Finding the balance between boundaries and that which is self-sacrifice. Feeling that there is no way out yet by making the effort to explore every option you will begin the path to freedom.  Mercury goes direct on July 9th  which means that communications start to move back into a normal space.  Any thoughts that may have been confused by unclear emotions during the last three weeks also begin to find their balance.  With Pluto moving backwards right over the exact degree of the Galactic Core so much of what we know we need to release starts to really come to our attention and yet the desire to ignore it thinking it will go away is also strong.  It is for this very reason that if you continue to focus what you know you need to clear, you will bring yourself all that much faster to all the wonder that awaits you.  It is important to remember that if you just TRUST that all will be well, the miraculous will most definitely appear before you in your path.  ON RELEASING THAT WHICH IS OLD:  It is a time of awakening, and a time of coming to the realization that you are not who you were and not who you think you are but rather that which you are.  It is exactly this that causes on some level the feeling like the “old clothes don’t fit” and that which is in your life that resonates with the “old” feels restrictive and heavy.  The challenge about letting go is that when you think about releasing these things – whether it’s a relationship, a job or simply a mindset, the fears begin to speak loudly to you and it almost seems easier just to keep things as is.  You can only do this for so long, as the energies around us are such that we begin to become more conscious of anything that is out of alignment with our true soul purpose.  Keep KNOWING that all will be well if you just trust with all your heart and soul and break through the veils of fear that separate you from that which you are destined to be doing. ON FINDING THE BALANCE: If you are feeling that at the each day you wonder how you can keep it going without getting what you need, then it is a good idea to use the energies this month to put your focus on what you need.  It is a time of resetting your boundaries to that which encompasses your needs and your desires.  Others may not like it but who cares? Who’s more important than you?  You are not here to focus all your attention on fulfill other’s needs and wants when it means that you do not get enough.  Reset your boundaries, line by line no matter who acts up about it and find yourself in a freedom that is all brand new.  Find yourself regaining all that lost energy and celebrating your courage.  ON EXPLORING EVERY OPTION:  It is a time to bring the power back to yourself by examining that which you desire to change.  Instead of thinking that there is no way out, just start to brainstorm new possibilities, even ones that verge on the impossible.  You may feel that you have explored it all and there is “no way out”, however, make the effort to revisit and find just one strand of possibility as unlikely as it may seem, and begin the journey of moving toward it.   By sending out this strong message out to the Universe, you signal it to begin to bring forth from the realm of the unseen, the hidden door of opportunity.  Such is the possibilities that can manifest before you this month with a little effort.  Weaving Feng Shui into Astrology  Feng Shui is the intentional positioning and conscious aligning of all aspects of your environment to create the most supporting energetic surroundings possible so that you thrive while being there. By understanding the Astrological energies of the month, we are able to naturally find a further focus on particular areas of the home or specific things you can do within your home to enhance and fully utilize the energies around you.  The Astrological energies this month would find their maximum positive expression in a focus on the bathroom, on items of beauty around you, and also on a stimulation of your “knowledge” energy.  The bathroom is where we go to purge, to cleanse, to transform and to emerge anew.  It relates strongly to the Pluto energy which is all about transformation and rebirth.  FENG SHUI SUGGESTIONS FOR JULY: Go into your bathroom, especially the one that you personally use each day, and go through each drawer and each cabinet and dispose of anything old – old toothpaste, lipstick, department store samples, expired lotions, fallen hair, unfinished prescriptions, etc.  This is an excellent place to begin “letting go” of the old.  This has a profound effect on you as you purge that which is old on the physical.  From here, you begin the process of release on the Mental Body as well as the Emotional Body.  Be sure to drink lots of water to help process the energy. Find a beautiful item that you absolutely love that is quite substantial in size and that catches the eye.  Place it in a space as you enter you home to remind you of your own beauty.  As Venus changes signs, this month, it is a good idea to see a new way of seeing yourself and with be conscious that you are absolutely perfect, just as you are. In making decisions, we want to make sure that we are coming from a place of knowledge and wisdom.  In Feng Shui the mountain energy stimulates knowledge as in the old days the masters would retire into the mountain to meditate and gain knowledge.  The color for Knowledge is blue.  The location of the Knowledge energy is the bottom left corner of your home. (As standing at the front door facing in)  Place some blue there to help to move the energy towards the support of knowledge.  By doing one or all of the above, you’ll be utilizing the astrological energies to work with you to maximize all that is going on in your life by placing and doing things to our support system around us, our very own homes.
