Dear Dannion.com family, Aloha and welcome. I am so pleased to meet you!  I wanted to introduce myself and share a little bit about my concept for this section of the monthly newsletter. It is such an honor to be able to share with you my passions in Astrology, Feng Shui and Spirituality! Prior to beginning my professional career in offering Astrological readings, I went to some astrologers in town here in Hawaii (and out of town) to see what was being offered. Although the readings were accurate, I found that I came away from each one feeling like I didn’t understand half the things they were saying because of all the complex astrological jargon. When the time came to begin offering my own readings, I remembered these experiences, and didn’t want to speak over anyone’s head. I continue to do my readings in this way.  Because I grew up in Taiwan and lived in Japan in my 20’s, I was able to acquire the language skills of those countries quite naturally. Therefore I have been trilingual for most of my life and have much experience in translating concepts from one language to another. I think of Astrology just like another language that I have learned and therefore enjoy sharing the information with others using simple language. Although I research and have an understanding of the planetary positions and contacts of each given period of time, I will not be talking much about trines, squares, quincunxes and rulers. I want every thing you read to be clear so you don’t have to wade through words to find the core of the meaning. After Astrology I began the study of Feng Shui and have found a wonderful tool that we can use to manage the energy of our environments. Where the planets create the cycles of energetic themes that we feel in our lives, Feng Shui allows us to focus and shape the energies by engaging our environments.  Therefore, I’ll be offering some Feng Shui ideas and things you can do in your home to support the planetary energies that are surrounding the month ahead.  As well, I am a channel for Pele – Goddess of Fire and I will call upon her to share with us additional insights for the month for further enlightenment!
