It is our prayer that 2008 manifest your deepest desires and grandest dreams. It has been several months since we have sent out a newsletter, and for this, we do humbly apologize. The autumn of 2007 was quite catastrophic for us and our family. Much illness, loss and tragedy ensued, which left us overwhelmed by too much to deal with and too little time to do it.  We’re sure you can all empathize with that, in many ways! However, the New Year is upon us. And although we had the wind knocked out of our sails, for a while, we’ve had time to catch our breath and recapture our calm center. Now, once again,  we are happily back on course looking forward to the many shining and wondrous opportunities just waiting to unfold as this New Year begins. We have recently signed on to republish our last book, The Secrets of the Light as well as Dannion’s very first book, Saved by the Light, with Harper One (a subdivision of Harper Collins). This is really exciting for us as we look forward to expanding our books  while reaching more and more spiritual seekers with our work. Together, with our girl genius tour promoter, Karen Koebnick of Sedona Spiritual Journeys, we are planning a few thrilling tours for the next two years. Of course, we will be returning to the Yucatan in search of the wisdom of the Mayan Calendar, but we are also eager to explore the sacred secrets of crop circles in England next summer, along with a journey into the heart of the mystery schools of ancient Egypt. You’ll definitely want to join us, somewhere along the way, for a little mystical fun and spiritual intrigue! So, all in all ,there is no doubt life is good and it’s getting better everyday. We are genuinely  devoted to doing our part to modify, alter and hopefully reinvent  the prevailing death consciousness that humanity holds so near and dear. We want everyone to know that death is not real,  at least not in the form and fashion it is so readily and universally accepted. Through our modern programming, death has become our greatest fear.  Yet, for Dannion and I, death is merely a transitory movement from this world (the physical realm) into the next world (the spiritual realm). In truth, in the afterlife, the soul and spirit not only survive, they  honestly continue to hardily thrive.  On the other side there are celestial schools of higher cosmic learning devoted to elevating each soul to a station of mastery and universal wisdom. Yep, Dannion and I are totally at peace with the process of death and the reality of life in the Hereafter. We’ve both experienced the euphoric wonder and thrill of near-death experiences so,  for us life after death  is an absolute  given that brings us the greatest comfort and tranquility. Or so we thought... Until our ten year-old niece, Kathryn Marie Coleman, suddenly passed away on 9/11/ 2007.  At that point, life and death unexpectedly took on a totally new persona for us. As the parents of six children, the thought of losing a child is still beyond comprehension. As we witnessed the grief and devastation of my brother and his wife at the loss of their baby girl it chilled us to the bone. With all that we know, and all that we try to teach, this was still a most staggering  moment in our lives. A time where we were forced to stop and reflect upon all we held dear. Life has a way of teaching us what we most need to learn even when we are unaware of the need.  So, in an instant, we were faced with the need to call upon everything we believed in spiritually to help us through the most shocking human crisis a parent can possibly endure. In my mind, the loss of a child is indeed a perversion of nature. We simply are not prepared, in anyway, to bury our children. Spiritual understanding is not an instant cure when you are faced with the human pain resulting from such a stunning tragedy. Only God can help you then! So, we prayed day and night for peace, understanding and acceptance. The months have passed and day by day the pain is gradually lessening in intensity, but we shall never stop missing Kathryn and what might have been. Her beautiful picture on our piano acts as a daily reminder to us to  live life with vigor, gusto and an open heart always ready to give and receive love.  Not one day should be wasted on pettiness and strife. Not one moment of our lives can afford to be ignored. Each second is a gift, a precious treasure to be cherished and savored. I have learned so much about myself through the loss of my niece. And in this New Year I resolve to be more fully present in each moment I spend with my loved ones. As we prepare to courageously face the coming events of a brand new year, let’s keep in mind that this begins the final countdown into a time of great change. Change in the way we live, and more importantly, change in the way we see ourselves and one another. The next 4 to 6 years will hold enormous surprises and many unexpected opportunities. We hope that through information posted regularly on  our website, we can help you analysis and navigate your way though the next few years, in order to assist you in perfecting an understanding of who you are and what your unique destiny happens to be. You know, after many trips into the Yucatan, to study the spiritual wisdom it holds, I truly believe that by using certain dates designated in the Mayan Calendar, we can actually magnify our personal power and contribute to humanity’s ultimate victory and freedom over tyranny and manipulation. With this in mind, and due to the fact that this is an American election year, I want to offer you the opportunity to gain greater control over your own destiny. We all know that the system of information we exist within is deceptive and controlling, at best. But if we band together, with focused determination, I believe we can regain our power and purpose as sovereign spiritual beings, incapable of being manipulated through fear and terror.  We must consciously work to reduce the paralyzing grip fear has on our life choices, and instead learn to live in gratitude and hope. Our decisions must be made in order to facilitate peace, or surely we will find ourselves engaged in a devastating World War before long. During my first near-death experience in 1975, I was shown many visions of what came to be known as “future events.” I refer to these visions as the Boxes of Knowledge. If they stay true to course, we are in for quite a bumpy and wild ride. But it gives me great pleasure to know that I will be taking this ride with YOU! I just want us to be part of the solution, not part of the problem.
