AFFIRMATION OF THE MONTH
MAGNETIC MENTAL POWER It is the spiritual warrior's responsibility to monitor all thoughts passing through the conscious mind. One soul's prolonged consideration of human lack and limitation can cause detriment to the world at large. Thoughts possess a highly magnetic power. They attract to the soul the very substance of their contemplation. AFFIRMATION
"I long to know Heaven on Earth, and therefore, ~Jewels for the Soul |

"Understand that wealth
is a state of consciousness, an expanded awareness of having.
When you have
right understanding of who and what you are, you recognize that you already
have all that you need."

Dear Friends: As we are all witnessing, another year is quickly passing by at a fleeting pace. It's already that time when the Ides of March 15th have been historically marked as a day of infamy, resulting from Julius Caesar's assassination on March 15, 44 B.C. And yet, to this very day, the Ides stand ready to mark a time of transition, for us all. In this month we can celebrate renewal and rebirth through the resurrection of the spirit, and through the changing of the earthly seasons, from winter into spring. This is a glorious time of year. A time bursting forth with songs of life, birth and transformation. Please take time to mark this rite of passage in your own unique way. Whether you celebrate it by performing your annual 'spring cleaning' or by attending sunrise service on Easter Sunday, or by planting an array of gorgeous flowers in your window boxes, it matters not. Just be conscious of the way you welcome this fresh, vibrant new season of rejuvenation. It offers you the golden opportunity to breathe new life into your dreams, to revitalize your energy, and to rekindle your passions. In our household we celebrate the season of rebirth in the following way. After a lavish meal with family and friends, we write little notes to Spirit, delineating what we would like to accomplish in the next three months. Then we take turns burying our notes under a beautiful flower we plant in the yard. Everyone plants a flower of their choice. And if we're feeling especially ambitious, we'll plant a bush or a sapling! The point is to be mindful of the changes in the seasons our of lives - to be reverent and to honor, with conscious awareness, the true meaning behind the passage of our days. May all of your days be blessed, Kathryn and Dannion

Strategies for Spiritual Living by Kathryn
We are living in challenging times. Our religious, cultural and intellectual anchors in life are shifting, and often, we don't know what to believe in, anymore. The 21st century high tech lifestyle is inundated with constant updates and stunning innovations. In our external world, things change quickly, from one day to the next. For many, this can be unsettling to the point of creating feelings of trepidation. Life in constant flux is unsettling to the mind because there appears to be no measure of absolute safety. Yet life, in the physical realm, was never intended to offer us that kind of unshakable stability. In fact, it was designed to encourage the blossoming of our genius and will, our ability to co-create on newer and higher levels of our imagination. Living in these times is our opportunity to go where no man or woman has ever gone before. It is basically our cosmic mandate to take this experience, as a spiritual being animating a physical form, and to use it to manifest an earthly reality founded on heavenly verities. So, the greatest challenge of these trying times is to remember who we are, and in that remembering, to remain true to our divine nature regardless of what challenges may confront us. The joy and happiness we seek in life are not givens in the physical realm. They are qualities of Spirit, and as such, we must reclaim them in order to ignite their power and purpose in our lives. We can't simply sit around bemoaning our lack of joy in living, while we wait for it to show up at our doorstep, We must create it; we must be the joy we seek. For there is a high-frequency shift in consciousness advancing through the galaxy that is kicking up a lot of energetic debris along the way. If we just sit back and 'go with the flow' right now, we will find ourselves discombobulated and washed ashore on the tides of a sea of chaos. These challenging times demand that we take hold of our lives, and sculpt them, ever so mindfully, into the works of art we wish for them to be. The prevailing mass consciousness does not have to be your reality. You have the might and power to imagineer the life you desire, instead of the kind you read about in the daily headlines. Of course, it is good to know what is happening in the world around you, however, it is not necessary for you to be pushed and shoved into accepting that reality as your own. In times of famine, there is always someone who has food enough to feed himself, and still more to offer others. In times of depression, there is always someone who remains financially secure with plenty to donate to those in need. These are the individuals who refused to align their thoughts with those of the collective consciousness. Indeed, they undoubtedly refused to relinquish their divine right to joy and abundance by allowing it to sink into the quicksand of mass negativity. Your life is your own making. Take pride in that personal responsibility, and continue to aspire and achieve. Challenging times are meant to hone our spiritual prowess and test our creative fortitude. They are not intended to imprison our enthusiasm and good cheer. When put to the test, as spiritual warriors, we must face our mundane challenges with courage and conviction. In that way, our victory is assured. Life is but a dream. So, remember who you are, and dream big! |
