I
want to rant some more
this month about the illegal activities of the United States
Government. This has been going on for far too long, and I want to
know why we are letting them get away with it! Wake up, America! Or
else you may find all of your business in the street while you and
your family are being sent off to a prison camp! This might sound a
bit bizarre to you now, but just read on to see exactly why I am
writing these things!
Five
years ago, Congress stopped a Department of Defense program, code
name: Darpa. This program was headed by Rear Admiral John Marlan
Poindexter, who was infamous for being a convicted felon in the
Iran-Contra disaster (this was later reversed on a legal
technicality). Anyway, Darpa was a massive program, created back in
the late ‘50’s. It started out as an agency to develop technology
for the military. Today, it is building a database of information
profiling every single American, from your likes and your dislikes,
to where you vacation, how you habitually spend your money, and who
you talk to on the telephone. Congress, national law enforcement and
civil liberty lawyers finally brought this poisonous and invasive
program to a screeching halt in 2003…or so they thought!
In
truth, it was merely moved from the DoD to the National Security
Agency, which had been carrying out a data mining program very
similar to Darpa for over fifteen years. The National Security
Agency was created to spy on the activities of foreign countries.
Well, guess what, a big part of their daily activity was also
dedicated to spying on American citizens. That’s you and me, my
friend! I want to make sure you understand what I am saying to you.
Since 9/11, the government has convinced most Americans that what
they are doing through the Patriot’s Act, the National ID, and Darpa
are all intended to protect us from terrorism. But people – this has
been going on for over fifteen years…long before 9/11. And what
Darpa didn’t do, the FBI did. Through Carnivore, we were spied on
everyday. Although, Carnivore was outlawed by Congress four years
ago, the FBI simply changed the name of the program to Digital
Collection System, and just kept on going. FBI Director Mueller
recently testified to Congress that the FBI had broken the law more
than one thousand times in 2006, through illegal means of securing
personal information.
Therefore,
it is now common knowledge that the United States government is
unlawfully keeping records of its citizens every email, bank
transfers as well as all credit card transactions, and telephone
calls. No wonder the President wants to give immunity to the
telephone and internet companies, both for the past and in the
future! It is time for us to all realize that they have been
illegally spying on us, breaking our trust and the Fourth Amendment.
The Constitution of the United States is being undermined by the
American government. Are you getting it? Are you willing to do
something about it?
This
is cause for outrage, people! This is the beginning of the end.
You’re not being protected by a government that cares about your
safety and well being; you’re being betrayed by them!
They
are systemically destroying the American Dream by destroying every
one of the civil liberties this country was originally built upon!
The debate that is now beginning is based upon how far we are all
willing to let our government go in recording and compiling our
every moment, our every personal conversation, and our every
financial transaction. We must confront this, for the government is
out of control. But as this confrontation builds, be mindful that
this is really happening…and it is happening to you, today. The
question is: are you ready and willing to remember and reclaim your
inalienable rights, in the land of free, and home of the brave?
You know, I have been dead so many times that I tend to view life from a slightly different perspective than most people. Some things that outwardly appear to be serious are not, in my opinion. While other things that do not appear serious, really are to me. The saying
"That ain't nothin'" became one of my catch phrases after a man pulled a knife on a friend and me one night, years ago. The knife terrified my friend. But after all I have been through in my life, a little pocket knife wasn't worrying me. I looked at the guy, looked at the knife, and started to laugh. As I disarmed the situation, I said to my friend, "Ah, that ain't nothin'!" The story stuck and the legend grew. So, this monthly column will be all about my unique viewpoint of current events, world affairs, spirituality, politics, science, medicine and life in general. Of course, it will all depend on what kind of mood I happen to be in!
